Smith UniCorp Financial Services JV (SUFS) represents the merger of the resources and experiences of two firms, Smith Real Estate Services, Inc. (SRES) and UniCorp Services, Inc. The joint venture was formed in April of 2000 for the sole purpose of providing due diligence services to HUD. Smith UniCorp Financial Services JV is currently contracted by HUD as the Due Diligence Contractor for HUD Multifamily and Healthcare Loan Sale 2004-2. Specifically, SUFS will assist HUD with the sale of mortgage loan assets by designing and managing a cost effective due diligence process that maximizes net proceeds to HUD.

Founded in 1984, SRES is a full service firm capable of providing expert real estate consulting services required to address a variety of real estate situations and problems related to the valuation, analysis, acquisition, construction and disposition of real estate assets. SRES is a women-owned company. The company is staffed by a cadre of professionals whose academic backgrounds and training cover the entire spectrum of services offered by the firm including architecture, project management, construction management, land acquisition services, valuation analysis, market analysis, and financial analysis. SRES is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and currently maintains an office in Washington, D.C. Over the past 20 years, the firm has provided a wide range of real estate advisory services to an extensive list of public and private sector clients including HUD, General Services Administration, and the U.S. Postal Service. SRES is certified by Small Business Administration as an 8(a) firm.

UniCorp Services, Inc. has been in business for over 13 years, and has been awarded over 40 government and private sectors contracts during that span in the areas of due diligence and asset valuation, financial feasibility, loan survey, asset maintenance, subsidiary management and accounting, financial advisory services, asset research, and financial institution management. UniCorp specializes in management consulting, financial and real estate advisory services, and has performed specialized services for clients both domestically and internationally. UniCorp Services, Inc. is experienced in asset due diligence, analysis and valuation system design, and has direct experience with analyzing, marketing and selling billions in assets. UniCorp has its own proprietary asset analysis and valuation system, as well as its own data imaging system for loan due diligence and asset marketing services.
