Henry
S. Czauski is the Deputy Director (and is currently serving as the
Acting Director) of the Departmental Enforcement Center. He joined
the DEC in that capacity in November 2004. Before that, from 2002-2004,
he was HUD's Regional Counsel for New York and New Jersey. Prior
to his appointment as Regional Counsel, he held positions as Senior
Attorney/Satellite Office Coordinator in OGC's Office of Program
Enforcement, providing legal services to the Departmental Enforcement
Center; Chief Counsel for the New Jersey State Office; Chief Counsel
for the Washington, D.C. Field Office; Associate Regional Counsel
in the Denver Office; Senior Attorney in the Headquarters Office
of Assisted Housing and Community Development; and Attorney-Advisor
in the Office of Finance and Administrative Law. He is admitted
to practice before the New Jersey Supreme Court; the U.S. District
Court for the District of New Jersey; the Pennsylvania Supreme Court;
and the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
He has been with HUD's Office of General Counsel since September
1979.

Rebecca
Holtz Shank is the Operations Division Director in the Departmental
Enforcement Center (DEC). She joined the DEC in December 2000. She
served as Acting Office Director of the Office of Consumer and Regulatory
Affairs in the Office of Single Family Housing from August 1999
until December 2000. She was the Director of the RESPA/Interstate
Land Sales Division from August 1996 until December 2000. Prior
to her work in Housing, Becky started her HUD career in the Office
of General Counsel, first in the Office of Litigation, and then
for seven years in the Office of Program Compliance where she was
the senior RESPA enforcement attorney. She graduated from the University
of Maryland School of Law and Mount Holyoke College.

James
M. Beaudette is Director of the DEC's Compliance Division. In 1999,
he began his career at HUD with the Office of the Inspector General
(OIG) Housing Fraud Initiative in Los Angeles. After transferring
to OIG's Atlanta office, in 2002, he was appointed Special Agent
in Charge in Los Angeles. Before joining HUD, he supervised investigations
for the Department of Interior's Bureau of Land Management in California
and Northern Nevada. Prior to that, he worked as a US Border Patrol
Field Operations Supervisor working cross-border smuggling cases
with Operation Alliance, a multi-agency taskforce in El Paso, TX.
He transferred to Operation Alliance from a liaison position to
the Office of the Vice-President where he was assigned to the National
Narcotics Border Interdiction System. While there, his work related
to the utilization of national intelligence assets for tactical
law enforcement use. He also assisted in the establishment of the
Office of National Drug Control Policy in areas related to land
border interdiction. He began his civilian Federal career in Yuma,
AZ as a Border Patrol Agent.
