The
Department is seeking a contractor to administer Non-Section 8 rental
housing assistance contracts and assisted properties for the Office
of Multifamily Housing. This is a full and open competition. The
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this
solicitation is 531390 and the Business Size Standard is $1.5 million.

A Public Announcement was
issued 4/1/04 for HUD Reference #R-OPC-22640.
- A
Modification to the Public
Announcement was issued 5/11/04. The purpose of this modification
is to clarify the Department's requirement.
- An
initial Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Market survey
were issued 8/6/04. All comments to the initial Draft PWS were
requested to be submitted by 8/20/04.
- Based
on comments received from the initial draft Performance Work Statement
(PWS) and the Market Survey, the draft PWS was revised on 9/17/04,
to incorporate the necessary changes and include additional requirements.
All comments to the 2nd Draft PWS should be submitted no later
than Friday, September 24, 2004. Please Note: The due date for
comments on the 2nd Draft PWS has been extended to September 30,
2004.

- The
Notice was modified on 12/27/04. The purpose of this modification
is to announce that the Department plans to issue a Request For
Proposal (RFP) following FAR Part 15 and the Office of Management

to administer Non-Section 8 rental housing assistance contracts
and assisted properties for the Office of Multifamily Housing.
The solicitation will be available on or about January 14, 2005.
The closing date will be addressed within the RFP.
