 Information by State
 Print version

*Please note that this data contains several administrative changes as of May 21, 2004. We appologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

*Please make sure that applications reflect the Initial Pro Rata Need for FY 2004. This page was inadvertantly linking to the FY 2003 IPN when it was first deployed. Those links were corrected at 11:00 AM EST May 17, 2004. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.

The links below lead to spreadsheets that display the "pro rata need" amount for metropolitan cities and all counties in the United States. The pro rata need amount is the dollar expression of relative homeless assistance need assigned to a community or group of communities using U.S. Census Bureau data. These amounts are used in scoring the "need" rating factor within the Continuum of Care competition. Please review Section "J" of the 2004 Continuum of Care application kit for detailed information on the use of this chart.
