Implementation for 2008 Formula Grants
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of Block Grant Assistance (OBGA) is pleased to announce the Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2008 Formula Grant Implementation Training. NSP1 grant recipients are invited to attend one of these four informative sessions offered from late June through mid July in Chicago, Los Angeles, Fort Worth, and Jacksonville.
The training curriculum will be presented by HUD program staff and is designed to address the most important topics for successful implementation.
The topics will include:
- Establishing the Context: Eligible Uses, Eligible Activities
- Eligible Properties, Pre-Acquisition Considerations
- Post-Acquisition Considerations, Financing Issues
- Program Administration
- Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting (DRGR) System
- Performance Measurement
- Land Banking and Demolition under DRGR
