Working with your Phase 2 matrix code spreadsheets

- -
 Information by State
 Print version

The Phase 2 worksheet contains a list of activity numbers where the current combination of Matrix Code and National Objective Code violate CDBG program rules.

Depending on the purpose of the activity and the National Objective Code it is expected to meet, you will need to review and change either the Matrix Code or the National Objective Code.

In IDIS, the Matrix Code can be viewed or changed on the second common path screen, Setup Activity (CO4MA02). To get to the National Objective Code, press <Enter> twice on the MA02 screen, then select CDBG on the "Money" screen (CO4MA08). The National Objective Code is on the top of the CDBG Activity screen (CO4MC01).

If the Matrix Code/National Objective Code combination is invalid, you will see an error message to this effect at the bottom of the screen and you will be prevented from accessing other CDBG-path screens. If you are certain that the NOC is correct as displayed, you will need to scroll back <F7> to the Setup Activity screen and correct the Matrix Code.
