Introduction

Welcome to the Lead Safe Housing Rule training module for HUD's Community Planning and Development (CPD) programs. This module will help recipients of CPD-administered funds effectively implement the requirements of the Lead Safe Housing Rule in their programs.

Prior training about lead-based paint is not needed to understand the material presented in this module. If you are just beginning to learn the lead-based paint requirements, this module will provide you with a solid foundation. If you are experienced with the requirements, this module can serve as a refresher and a quick reference guide if you have questions about a specific aspect of the rule.

Who is the Audience for this Module?

This module is primarily intended for HOME Grantee and Subrecipient staffs, such as:
