Some of the key Crosscutting Federal Requirements in HOME-funded programs involve employment and contracting practices. Employment and contracting requirements are meant to ensure that employees working on HOME-funded projects receive fair and equal treatment in all aspects of their employment, have safe and healthy work conditions, and are properly compensated for their work.
