This HOME Front module provides concise, easy-to-understand guidance on determining the income and allowances of applicants to HOME-funded programs. To make the calculation process easier for you, useful forms and tables are also available to download and/or print for everyday office use.
While written specifically for the HOME Program, the requirements and processes covered in this module may also be applicable to other HUD programs, including CDBG, Section 8, Public Housing, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, and others. Simply enter the data requested and this calculator will work behind the scenes to generate a summary of results for each applicant. Then, all you need to do is print out the summary and include it in the applicant's file!
