The following data was used in a recent report on the Preserving Subsidized Housing Opportunities Near Transit prepared by AARP, the National Housing Trust, and Reconnecting America. The state files contain data for federally assisted projects located in the 20 metropolitan areas included in the report. Planners and local practitioners may wish to use the geo-coded data to identify the federally assisted projects near transit that may be at risk during the next five years due to the expiration of existing Section 8 contracts.
