The Design System phase in the System Development Methodology (below) assists you in determining the conceptual design of your system.

You and your development team must consider critical items and issues when managing this process. By following this process, you'll lay the foundation for building a system that will perform as intended.

In the Design Phase, you'll find

  • guidance on the allocation and refinement of requirements,
  • help with the development of system and subsystem specifications,
  • roles and responsibilities, and
  • key issues each document must address.
