New Hires

 Information by State
 Print version

The Department of Housing and Urban Development welcomes you.

As part of the hiring process -- whether you are a new employee, a transfer from another agency, or returning to the Federal sector -- you must fill out several Entrance on Duty (EOD) forms to ensure that you are properly entered into our payroll and personnel systems. These forms cover your election of insurance benefits, direct deposit of your paycheck, tax withholdings, and more.

All of these EOD forms are available below, along with links to more information about the benefits available to you. Refer to the checklist you received with your Offer Letter for the specific forms that you need to complete. We hope that making these forms available electronically will make your transition an easy one.

If you have any questions, please contact the Human Resources (HR) Specialist who provided you with your job offer, or make note of your questions and, upon reporting for duty, ask the person who processes your paperwork at your new official duty station.

In addition, in order to expedite the security clearance process, you may be contacted by the HR office, or your new local supervisor, to coordinate some pre-employment paperwork.

Again, we welcome you to HUD.
