On December 14, 2005, President Bush signed Executive Order 13392, "Improving Agency Disclosure of Information". The Executive Order mandates that each agency designate a Chief FOIA Officer within 30 days of the date of the Order to ensure the efficient and appropriate compliance with FOIA and the requirements of the Executive Order.

Important Note: This designation does not change where FOIA requests should be submitted to HUD. Please follow these steps for submitting a FOIA request to HUD to ensure that your FOIA request is properly submitted.
