Admin Mission

The Office of Administration (Admin) provides a full range of administrative services to Headquarters and Field Office customers in support of HUD's mission. The Office of Administration is responsible for developing and promulgating policies, standards, procedures, administrative systems and materials related to the resource and administrative management of the Department. The Office also oversees the proper implementation of these policies and directives.

The Office of Administration provides general support services to all offices and divisions throughout HUD. These services include: management analysis, human resource management, employee training, performance analysis; providing general building and office services, maintaining correspondence and scheduling for the Secretary; as well as carrying out special activities directly assigned by the Secretary of HUD. The Assistant Secretary for Administration is responsible for the development and implementation of policies, standards, procedures, systems and materials related to the resource and administrative management of the Department.

The following offices are within Admin: Office of Executive Scheduling, Office of Security and Emergency Planning (OSEP), Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Budget and Management Support, Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Human Resource Management, and Office of Field Administrative Resources. Admin offices focus services that aid in carrying out all support functions and enable HUD to execute its mission.
