Secretary Alphonso Jackson was the 13th U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development serving from Mar. 31, 2004 - April 18, 2008. You can read more about Secretary Jackson on his biography page. Secretary Alphonso Jackson guided the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in its mission of providing affordable housing and promoting economic development, an assignment to which he brought more than 25 years of direct experience in both the private and public sectors. We've created this photo library of the Secretary to capture some of his activities during his time at HUD.
