Enterprise Income Verification (EIV) System Guidance, Housing Notice 08-03 dated June 25, 2008, uses EIV data to verify, at the time of recertification, the employment and income of individuals participating in one of Multifamily Housing's rental assistance programs. EIV use will be mandatory January 31, 2010. Please start the process now to obain access to the EIV system. EIV will help decrease tenant income errors, reducing the number of improper payments. |

Business Partner Registration HUD Multifamily - All new business entities that have never done business with HUD must first establish an identity with HUD before signing up for any secure systems such as APPS. Registration errors will carry over to other systems, so accurate data is critical. Entities that are already known in the HUD secure systems do not need to sign up.
The Business Partner Registration HUD Multifamily page is accessible by anyone, without password or ID. Each new business partner must have a unique TIN or SSN. Each new business partner must have a unique TIN or SSN. Following completion and submission, the new entity is known to HUD systems. The process takes approximately 2 minutes to complete and no more than 24 hours before the HUD databases are updated. |

All users who have been accessing the SAVE Program via PC – 1 and PC – 2 must register with HUD for an ID and temporary password to the web-based SAVE Program as soon as possible Registrants must provide: user's full name, management agency/property complete name and street address, phone number, fax number, and contract number(s) for each property.
