• Arizona Department of Housing is a cabinet-level state agency created in 2002 to affordable housing needs in Arizona. The Department of Housing, together with the Arizona Housing Finance Agency, administers state funding and federal tax credits available for affordable housing development. (602) 771-1000
  
  
• Water Infrastructure Housing Authority (WIFA) is an independent agency of the state authorized to finance construction, rehabilitation and/or improvement of drinking water and sewer projects. • Greater Arizona Development Authority (GADA) was created by the Arizona Legislature to assist local and tribal governments and special districts with the development of public infrastructure projects that enhance community and economic development.

• California Department of Housing and Community Development (or HCD) is the state's principal housing agency and is one of 13 departments within the Business, Transportation and Housing Agency (BT&H). The mission of HCD is to provide leadership, policies and programs to expand and preserve safe and affordable housing opportunities and promote strong communities for all Californians. HCD administers state funding for affordable housing development.

• California Statewide Communities Development Authority (CSCDA), is a joint powers authority sponsored by the California State Association of Counties and the League of California Cities. CSCDA was created to provide local governments and private entities access to low-cost, tax-exempt financing for projects that create jobs, help communities prosper and improve the quality of life in California. CSCDA has issued more than $16 billion in tax-exempt bonds since its creation in 1988.
