The San Juan Community Planning and Development (CPD) Office oversees the distribution of certain federal funding to local governments in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands: Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), funding under the HOME affordable housing program, and programs to help end homelessness and promote economic revitalization.
