Directions to the Philadelphia HUD Office

Our office can be easily reached by public transportation or automobile. We are located in the Wanamaker Building, in the offices above the Macy’s Department Store, on Juniper Street just below Market Street. We are also across the street from City Hall, on the Southeast corner of Penn Square.

If you are taking public transportation:

• Exit the broad Street line at City Hall(Market Street) or the Market-Frankford El at 13th Street.

If you are driving from outside of Center City:

• It is best to come into the City on one of the major expressways
• Get onto the Vine Street Expressway (I-676) , heading towards Broad Street.
• Exit the highway at Broad Street (15th Street), and take 15th Street South past City Hall.
• Turn left as you pass City Hall onto S. Penn Square.
• Look for the Wanamaker Building.
• You can park under the building by turning right onto Juniper Street (in front of the building), and left into the parking lot.
• Less expensive parking can be found several blocks further down on Juniper.
