In 2004, 219,000 working families in the state of Oregon earned an additional $347 million more by claiming the Federal Earned Income Tax Credit [EITC] on their federal tax returns.
By filing your 2006 federal tax return, you may get back:
- $1,000 per child under age 17 for the Child Tax Credit
- $4,536 for two or more qualifying children for the EITC
- $2,747 for one qualifying child for the EITC
By filing your 2006 state tax return you may also be eligible for:
