HUD's Fair Housing Accessibility FIRST program is conducting a free training session along with the Metropolitan St. Louis Equal Housing and Opportunity Council
at the Paraquad Center for Independent Living on March 26, 2009 from 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Location is the Paraquad Center for Independent Living, 5240 Oakland
Avenue, St. Louis, MO 65049.
The HUD Fair Housing FIRST program will present one full day of training at this event with morning and afternoon sessions. Morning session will cover the "Design
and Construction Requirements of the Fair Housing Act: Technical Overview" and the afternoon session will include "Primer on Disability Rights Laws," "Accessible
Routes," and "Strategies for Compliant Bathrooms."
