If you or your agency would like for a HUD staff person to speak at an event, please review and complete the following:
Agency policies: The Department of HUD employee will have the right to deny speaking at the event.
The Department of HUD employee will speak free of charge.
The Department of HUD employee is unable to speak at fundraising events.
The Department of HUD employee is unable to lobby upon housing issues.
The Department of HUD employee adheres to the Hatch Act which precludes participation in any political activities.
Requests must be made two weeks in advance to avoid any scheduling conflicts. There may be travel restrictions outside of the metro area. The selected Division will notify you of Division travel terms.
In some cases, HUD may combine requests to reach more of the public sector. Therefore, requests may be accumulated for a later presentation. If similar presentations have already been arranged, HUD will notify you of those presentations.
