Indiana Neighborhood Networks Consortium Partnership Luncheon


The Indiana Neighborhood Networks Consortium (INNC) hosted its first Partnership Luncheon at Lakeview Christian Center in Indianapolis on June 23, 2005 to publicize its formation and explain its programs, services and benefit to the community. Among those in attendance were Beth White from the Mayor’s Office, George Courtney, Grants Manager with the City of Indianapolis, Emerson Allen, Faith-Based Coordinator, City of Indianapolis, Matt Row from Congressman Steve Buyer’s Office, and Tamie Meredith, and Ernest Malone with the Indianapolis Fire Dept. The Sutton Place Sparks provided entertainment for those in attendance. Sutton Place resident, Dollie Fisher gave an inspirational resident testimony on behalf of Neighborhood Networks. INNC was formed to provide access to computer technology, training and content underserved individuals in the State.

INNC’S GOALS

  • To provide opportunities for members to share and leverage ideas, expertise and best practices across a broad spectrum of areas of interest.
  • To build alliances and partnerships that will aid INNC in fulfilling its vision and goals and assist members in reaching their respective goals in the areas of providing technology, social service, education, and employment opportunities.
  • To provide technological assistance and resources to member centers.
  • To obtain and distribute resources, including monetary funding, technical equipment, and other in-kind donations to members to further the overall mission and vision of INNC.
