Training included Organizational Development, Legal Do's & Don'ts,
Five Factors for
Awards, The Art & Science of Grant Writing, and hands-on group
exercises to implement the concepts learned. Training was provided
to help level the playing field so that faith-based and community
groups have a better chance of obtaining federal funds to help carry
out their crucial missions.
Attendees provided high ratings of the session. As one participant
commented, "The information I received and the interaction I experienced
was invaluable. I intend to share what I have learned with many
others in need of an avenue to enhance effective human services.
Thanks HUD!"
