Organization Development and Grant Writing Training
On Wednesday, December 17 the Chicago HUD office will host a one day "Organizational Development and Grant Writing Training" workshop at the HUD Office, 77 W. Jackson Blvd., Room 2205. The presenter will be Michael McAfee, ED.d of the office of Community Planning and Development. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the program will run from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (Lunch on your own from 12; 00 -1:00 p.m.) The morning will focus on the importance of organizational development, and the afternoon will cover the key ranking and rating factors as well as grant submission requirements.

Registration is on-line. Please do not register if you are not assured of attending as capacity is limited.

If you have questions feel free to email Kenneth Brucks or call (312) 353-6236, ext. 2343. However on-line registration is sufficient to attend. The training is a free service of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The Bush Administration unveiled on October 1 additional mortgage assistance for homeowners at risk of foreclosure. The HOPE for Homeowners program will refinance mortgages for borrowers who are having difficulty making their payments, but can afford a new loan insured by HUD’s Federal Housing Administration (FHA).
