A small amount of rental assistance is available from the State of California for senior citizens, the blind, and person with disabilities on limited incomes. For more information about this program, go to the California Franchise Tax Board.

Low and very low income Nevada County residents having a difficult time trying to come up with a rental deposit are encouraged to contact the Nevada County Community Development Agency - Housing Division. Ask about the Rental Deposit Program.
