THE FHA APPRAISAL

This FREE one-day class discusses FHA appraisal requirements including FHA Appraisal Protocol, updates to FHA appraisal policy, as well as equips attendees with the knowledge to determine property eligibility. This course provides a refresher to seasoned FHA appraisers, as well as provides valuable information to appraisers new to the FHA roster. Industry participants including Underwriters and Loan Processors may also benefit. Attendees will receive 7-hours of continuing education acceptable for the State of Colorado appraisal licensing requirements. Class size is limited, first-come, first served. On the day of the class, check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. Class begins promptly at 8:30 a.m.

This workshop combines a Basic Training morning session that assumes the learner has little or no formal experience with an afternoon Labor Standards "201" training program which is more "hands-on" with plenty of word problems and exercises to keep people interested in the subject matter. In preparation, you will want to bring a calculator. Registration is from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Parking is available in the rear of the building.

The Industry Day will take place on Thursday, February 16, 2012, at the Atlanta Homeownership Center. Alternate site locations will be made available via video teleconference from the Denver, Philadelphia and Santa Ana HOC offices and the HUD Headquarters Washington D.C. office. Registration is required, and attendees are encouraged to register early, as available seating will be limited. Vendors will be limited to a maximum of 2 participants per registered business name (each participate will need to register separately).
